LONG TIME NO POST!!!!

Well ladies and gents, I know it has been a long time since we have last updated you all, so this one might be a little longer than expected....or maybe not! :) 

Well about 2 weeks ago we found out that little Miss Payten is head down, and Chris and I were so overjoyed! We cannot wait to meet this little girl! Since our last post we have had our maternity pictures taken, don't worry pictures will be up! It's the final countdown! We are all set up for this little one to come home! The only thing left for us to do is pack my bag and Chris' bag for the hospital! Oh an install the carseat but those are all things that can be done in one day. :) I have told people that I am going to be the one packing my bag as we are running out the door to the labor and delivery department of the hospital!! 

It's almost surreal to think that it has been nine months already! Don't get me wrong I am completely ready for this baby to come, but the time flies!!

Much Awaited Baby Shower Pictures

Chris and I spent hours upon hours prepping for this event! We couldn't have been more pleased with the way everything turned out. Once again many thanks to all of our friends who came out to support us!

All of the food and cupcakes were made by Chris, and I added a little help to the mix! He wanted to do it all by himself though, so I didn't stand in his way too much! Like my mom said I am such a lucky girl to have such a handy man! :)

This gem was made by one of my girlfriends! It is a diaper cake for all of you who don't know what it is. Underneath all of that is individually rubber-banded and rolled diapers. The amount of time patients and talent that took is unbelievable! Thank you!

This is only one of the many gifts that we got, but only one of few pictures that I actually look like I am enjoying myself in....BUT I had a great time with a lot of great people!

Chris will probably kill me for putting this picture up here, but it is so candid and I am absolutely in love with it. I think he had a better time than I did. Every time a gift came in the door he would peek into it trying to see what it was only to be swatted away just before he caught a glimpse of what it was!!!

We also have so much more stuff coming from back home! I can't wait to get it all! Thank you to all who came and gave gifts they are truly appreciated!!

Views around the Nursery

Well Mamma wanted other views of the nursery so that she could see the dresser, so I have a few more pictures to show.

Now you can see the pack and play that mama bought us and the car seat that Aunt Laurie and Aunt Sue got us! The pack and play is going to go in our room though for when Little Miss comes home!

Not the best picture in the world but it was the only angle that I could get and still have the dresser in it for you Mom! All of the assembly wouldn't have been possible with out the help of the one and only amazing Christopher Heath!

Tomorrow is our Hawaiian Ohana Baby Shower! Pictures will be up of everything we do!

News of the Nursery

Its been awhile since our last update! Since our last update we have put most of the nursery together, and by we I mean Chris, and I stood by and gave instructional support! We put the crib and dresser together and have gotten other little trinkets to match her room's decor. Chris had one heck of a time with the dresser yesterday!

Payten is still swimming around creating quite the ruckus down in Mommy's tummy, but I wouldn't have it any other way! The baby showers are this weekend! Chris and I have been busy setting up for our Hawaiian Ohana shower all week! No doubt that my mom has been busy setting up for the shower back home in New York! We hope you all have a great time!

We only have a few more weeks left until the big day....58 days to be exact!

Surprise Outside Our Door!

YAHHHOOOOOOO!!!! Chris and I went out for dinner and a movie and were surprised to see all of this stuff outside of our door waiting for us!  A big shout out to my Momma for all of this! There is a crib mattress behind the crib that you can't see!!! She tells us to keep our eyes open and look for one more package! Shout out to my Aunt Sue and Laurie they sent us our carseat! Pictures of the completed nursery will be up within the next week...don't get too antsy Mom! 

Baby Payten's Almost Here!

Our little buddy, as Christopher likes to call her, is almost here! Week 30 came and is almost gone just as quickly as it got here! Payten is very active, as a matter of fact, I don't think she stops moving (well maybe when she naps). We had a checkup last week and our midwives say that she is looking and sounding great!

This month Chris and I are going to start putting the nursery together, pictures will be up don't you worry! The nursery is our only "big" task left in setting up for Ms. Payten's arrival! Also happening this month are the Baby Showers! July 20 for all of you in our Hawaii ohana and July 21 for all of you in our Mainland ohana! We couldn't be more excited!
